ARTIST'S STATEMENT

Due to a natural progression through her own life experience, Eve Margo Withrow has come to deeply respect the power of the human spirit and, thus, the magic available to her own uniqueness. She allows the subjects and forms to emerge through the media she chooses.
Eve's art is meant to remind us of the basic benevolent pattern of the Universe. She chooses to find her own balance between nature's apparent randomness and her own sense of equilibrium. This, for Eve, can only be done by trusting her intuition and allowing her art to come from a more honest and centered space.
Eve takes great delight in creating one-of-a-kind paintings using mixed water media and collaged materials. They are magical surrealistic impressions reflecting the essential feeling ingredient of an experience or place. Many of her favorite and most exciting works are the result of finding creative solutions to things run amok a few times over. She plays and adventures with her expressions, following threads here and there, thus entering the flow of her creative process; The Yin and Yang... Chaos and Order... Head and Heart awake and in balance.
